For Washington Avenue people who read my blog let me encourage you to be praying fervently for our Main Event meetings this Sunday. God is doing some awesome things in people’s lives and I believe He wants to continue this in our services this Sunday. I am expecting God to impact lives, save those who are lost, heal those who are hurting, and just draw all of us closer to Him than we have ever been!! Based on what God is doing right now, I know the Devil is mad and will do anything He can to circumvent our victory in Christ Jesus. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on what God is going to do this Sunday!!!

For those who read this blog and attend other Christian churches please pray for God to continue using this ministry to lead people to receive Christ as their Savior. As you pray for us we will pray for you and your church to experience God’s power and presence as He changes people’s lives. I thank God for you and your investment in His Kingdom. I read several Pastor’s blogs and rejoice at the way God is moving in this generation. He is drawing people to Himself and I believe He wants every church to share in the Harvest!

I can’t wait to share on Sunday night how God moved and blessed. Send a response about what God does in your life and/or church this weekend. Once a young preacher asked Charles Spurgeon why no one responded when he preached. Spurgeon asked the young man if he went into the pulpit expecting someone’s life to be changed. The young preacher honestly admitted that he didn’t. Spurgeon said that he was wasting his time preaching then. Every time we proclaim God’s Word we should EXPECT something to happen!!! I expect it and can’t wait to experience it! How about you?
