Southerners in Southern California
For those of you who are wondering about our travel progress, we all made it safe and sound! We have made it to our houses and are getting settled. Though it is 9:30 by their clock my body is definitely feeling the 12:30am sleepiness. Everyone is hungry so we are looking for a pizza delivery service. By the way, we thought the air conditioning was broke but just found out the house does not have AC. WHAT? The air outside feels awesome so we are lifting the windows.
Our tomorrow starts early for me so I am ready to go to bed as soon as I eat a quick bite. For those who attend Washington Avenue you should see me on the screen at home in the morning. That means I have to get up about 5:45am to get ready for the live broadcast.
I will update again tomorrow. Be praying for us as we get acclamated to our new environment tomorrow. We are having a worship service on the beach with the Elevate team in the morning and then get to hang out with some college students overlooking the San Diego Padres game (they just lost 2-0 to San Fran.) Tomorrow night we will join with the Elevate team for their Launch Preparation meeting. They meet each Sunday evening at 6:30 at the house where Kevin and Susan are living. It’s going to be a cool day!
We are praying for our friends and family at home. Stay tuned! Man I am tired. We love all of you and thank you for the prayers.
Hey dude! I’m going to be quiet honest…we are really jealous right now that we can’t be there. OK, so now that the truth is out we can move on! It was really great to see you guys this morning on the big screen. We were just talking about how God moves and how he completes a plan. The amazing thing is that he is using our body of believers to impact another body of believers. Even though we can’t be there, it feels great to know that our “family” is over there completing the work that we were called to. Have fun! We are praying for you guys constantly.
