While sitting here sipping on my caramel frapp from SB (well, more like slurping), I just wanted to give a quick update. Like every day the weather is perfect here in San Diego. We are meeting in a little while to get everything set up for the block party this afternoon. We are hoping to make some more positive contacts for the Elevate vision team. Personally, I am hoping for a better opportunity to share Christ with someone. I am ready IF God is ready to use me.

Please pray for our block party today. Some of our team is getting tired and feeling a little run down from a busy week so pray for personal strength to do the ministry today with a dynamic spirit that attracts people to our Savior. We are privileged to be here. Because of many people’s generosity (like you) we are able to be here and take part in this eternal work, in a setting nothing short of a paradise.

Last night we were downtown and man, everything was hopping. The clubs were rocking, the music was loud and, of course, the alcohol was abundant. I couldn’t help but notice all the people walking by totally immersed in their “temporary” lives. I wondered how many of these people would actually be going to heaven. How sad it must be for our Creator who constantly watches over His prized possession (i.e. humanity) with the knowledge of their eternal destiny. Pray for our hearts to be overwhelmed with the reality that everyone we encounter today needs Jesus and we may be the only one who will ENGAGE them with the Gospel! Of course, that is true for all of us, all the time, no matter where we are.

After spending over eight hours at Sea World yesterday I am happy to report that Shamu is doing quite well. He sends his best to all of you. If you get a chance, visit a Sea World sometime. It will remind you just how amazing our God really is. Those mammals are incredible. Our thoughts and prayers remain with all of our family and friends back home. Likewise, we anticipate the awareness of your prayers for us today and in our flight home tomorrow.
