Dreamers Needed
This week we finish up our series on “Living the Dream.” You can never anticipate how God is going to use a particular series of messages in my life and in the lives of those who happen to come on a particular Sunday. I have thoroughly enjoyed studying and meditating on this topic of Dreams. Here are few things that stand out to me:
A dream is based on something that does not exist in our sphere of reality but is very real in our subconscious mind (or Imagination). Dreaming can be very exciting. Especially when our dreams are being given and revealed by God’s Spirit living within us. When our hearts are ONE with Christ, our ambitions are consistent with His purposes! This is the Fertile Ground where ‘dream seeds’ are planted deep within one of God’s greatest gifts to mankind — Our Imagination.
The word Imagination comes from the root word IMAGINE, which means to mentally visualize ourselves in a situation, fulfilling something that lies deep within us. God has “pre-programmed” every human being with a unique DNA which shapes what we like and don’t like (or the things we are passionate about). A large part of our Dreams stem from this specific DNA we all have stamped on our lives by God.
Nothing is more thrilling and fulfilling than realizing or “LIVING” our dreams. Likewise, nothing is more discouraging than carrying around unfulfilled dreams! We want to give up and quit but we can’t because our dreams are an inherent part of who we are!
More than anything, I hope and pray that more “Dreamers” will rise from the ranks of dormant Believers to catch fire and light a path for Christ in this depraved generation. When we are “Living the Dreams” God has invested in us, our lives are complete; our co-lifers are challenged/blessed; and our God is GLORIFIED!
So, what do you say fellow Dreamers, let’s go out and LIVE OUR DREAMS!!!!!
